Palazzo Thiene Bonin Longare. On Piazza del Castello is Palazzo Thiene Bonin Longare. Palladio designed the building in 1572 but it wasn't built until after his death. Construction was carried out under Vincenzo Scamozzi (1548-1616) in the 1580s for Francesco Thiene. Today, the building is the home of the Vicenza Industrialist Association.

The drawing shows an elevation of Palazzo Thiene-Bonin Longare in Vicenza, begun in the late 1580s after the design of Andrea Palladio (1508-1580). The Palace was one of several designs Palladio carried out for the important Thiene family and was completed only after Palladio's death under the supervision of Vincenzo Scamozzi (1548-1616).

At Palladio's death the building had still not been executed. A document dated 1586 suggests that construction had finally begun, and it is certain that by 1593, upon the death of patron Francesco Thiene, at least a third of the palace had been built.

Palazzo Thiene Bonin Longare is located in Northern Vicenza between Corso Andrea Palladio and Piazza del Castello. It was designed and partially built by Francesco Thiene, and was finished by Scamozzi at the end of the 16th Century. The rooms on the ground floor have 17th-century stucco work on the ceilings. The frescoes in the parlor are by Paolo Guidolini and Giacomo Ciesa and were painted.
